Patterson Park Community Garden is a collection of people who share a simple dream: to grow local organic food for their families. It took nearly ten years of relentless effort to realize that dream but in the summer of 2016 construction finally began and gardeners are now starting to enjoy their first harvests.

If you share that vision we hope you might consider joining us.

How it Works

Each member chooses a plot of land to tend. There is a one time Tool/Maintenance fee of $20. The annual dues are based on how much water we consume. This year we asked members to pay $25 for the year.

PPCG is committed to affordable community gardening. The annual fee will be waived for households making no more than 80% of the Austin-area Median Family Income (MFI) for a given household size. Each of these plots will be assessed the one-time Tool/Maintenance fee.

The fruits or vegetables you grow are yours to keep or share as you see fit. We work as a community to share ideas, support each other’s efforts and to act as good stewards to the land entrusted to us by the City of Austin.
