Membership Information

The members of Patterson Park Community Garden share a simple dream: to grow local organic food for their families.

If you share that vision we hope you might consider joining us.

How it Works

Each member chooses a plot of land to tend. There is a one time Tool/Maintenance fee of $20. The annual dues are based on how much water we consume. This year (2017) we asked members to pay $25.

PPCG is committed to affordable community gardening. The annual fee is waived for households making no more than 80% of the Austin-area Median Family Income for a given household size. Each of these plots are assessed the one-time Tool/Maintenance fee.

The fruits or vegetables you grow are yours to keep or share as you see fit. We work as a community to share ideas, support each other’s efforts and to act as good stewards to the land entrusted to us by the City of Austin.
